The love for Gareth Bale goes on and on and on and rightly so. As an individual he did the right thing by quitting Spurs. UNPOPULAR VIEW WARNING but had the Welshman stayed, all he would have done is trodden the same soulless path as Harry Kane has had to.
Golden boots are right up there in sporting terms with āhow many chicken nuggets you can get in your mouth at one time without faintingā, type awards. Yes they are great to own, but one probably wouldnāt lure a top of the range supermodel back oneās pied-Ć -terre, with the threat of seeing such an item.
Baleās decision to come back to Tottenham MUST be applauded and cherished. Weāre very lucky boys and girls.
Bergwjin hasnāt convinced me as a starter yet, a decent squaddie perhaps and we been depth but with Bale and the Benfica boy coming in I see Moura abs Bergwjin down the pecking order when everyoneās fit now.
As for Gedson, I canāt see him getting a game unless we have a horrendous injury pile up…
It ‘s a good headache for Mourinho to have. Bergwijn has had some poor games of late but he has played central and on the left. I can’t work that out. He can deliver a very good cross from the right, but he drifts in and out of games. We paid a bit of money for him so he needs to show up more. Kane has been dropping in as the 10 too, so Son and Bale can rotate around. They could cause defences all sorts of problems with them interchanging. Will be good to see.
Coco or Moura with 45.CArLos instead maybe?

Iām not sure either Bergwjin or Moura are first choice. LoCelso gets in ahead of Dele at the moment but Bergwjin I see as a rotation player now Baleās arrived.

It is looking good. I’d like to see Bale play central (as the 10) and Bergwijn play on the right or Lo Celso play ahead of Dele, although Lo Celso’s goals and assists need to be upped. Dele 3 years ago would walk in the team, but he has a lot of making up to do for me. Having all the potential options is good to see.

Iām over the moon heās back, takes the pressure off Kane, Dele etc and a match winner. I predict heās going to have a bigger impact than VDV did.
Not many like him these days, I just hope he can perform to a decent level that doesn’t attract much negativity from the ignorant.
If our defence can be made to lock together right, we don’t suffer a run of injuries, and Nbelly comes through as he’s supposed to, our 1st team & bench might look like genuine title contenders. I can’t believe I just typed that. Maybe a little less port.

With Bale we are suddenly a threat in all set pieces. His free kicks now are unreal, he is one of the very few who can knuckleball it like Ronaldo. If not then he is the only man. Also whipping them in from the flanks, and corners.. Bale is a true deadball specialist.. Kane on penalties, Bale on everything else.
Hopefully Kane and sonny will make his time back with us fulfilled enough for now.
I’d say the Sonny and Kane combo has the most wattage at the moment.
I wonder if our little emperor had words with him and promised he would spend on some top talent to back him up this time, unlike last time when we were basically a one man team. Though I suppose with Son and Kane we were already more attractive, but now we have so much more after that transfer window.
If Everton’s Rodriguez is lighting up the EPL, Bale should be able to send into orbit. Can’t wait for him to get fit and hopefully stay fit.
