“We can finally sack Jose now” More and more Tottenham fans turning on Mourinho

By Bruce Grove -

Another depressing day and another bout of Jose Mourinho bashing doing the rounds on Social media.

There was already a contingent of Spurs fans that had lost confidence in the manager, some of whom never even wanted him in the job in the first place and it does seem that the number of Mourinho out crowd is growing in number.

Tottenham posted up the final result via their official Twitter account and there were thousands of responses. Naturally, a ton of them were deluded Gooners and other club fans having a pop, that is to be expected, but there was also a hell of a lot of Spurs fans piling in as well.

A good number were plain abusive and are best ignored, however, you could sense the frustration that was palpable in many of the tweets.

It is a shame that it has come to this but that is what happens when results and performances are not up to scratch.

Here is a sample of the tweets and they make for depressing viewing.

Well if that’s the case can we get someone with less experience and less trophys to his name ,maybe stupidly to try and actually win .
It might work probably won’t with levy involved but at least it won’t be the Jose media fest which this season has turned into .
Bored of all of it.

Its an even better con when you consider that three of his signings the two loanees from Portugal and Docherty are all managed by Jorge Mendes who is Jose’s agent. 15 million a year and possibly a kickback too, great work if you can get it.

Danny to the rescue again sack Jose who was his choice and appoint another patsy. I wonder when it will happen not till the end of the season I’m guessing as if we don’t have European football its cheaper to sack him.

Maureen knew they were gonna lose. Sissoko was damage limitation exercise.

Levy has his patsy.
But its time fans start asking deeper questions.
Why do we keep repeating the same cycle of events,
With hindsight i think Jose’s biggest mistake was he tried to build a squad, Poch might have had it right in that he would only have a first 11 and prioritise 2 competitions, and that was the cost for managing Spurs under Levy’s model. But the wheels fell of then because of poor investment the same as it did with Redknapo (though i get a bit was his head being turned).
Being out of Europe might be a blessing for the team, its helped some teams extremely well (Leicester, Chelsea both won titles and Liverpool to an extent in coming 2nd). It makes a decision on what competitions we go after. But again that circumstances driving what we do not it being planned for.
Change the manager, to what, its going to take time to recycle our way back up from the overperforming Poch days regardless, so they need that 5 year window like the original plan.
Sell the 2 big stars we did it before so why not again, if we except that is the case because the squad needs serious work , the patient doesn’t just need blood on the side of the road it need major surgery. We have a mid level team at best, ignore the facilities they are marginal gains tools not original ability.
The issues go deeper but Enic i wont expect to change so fans are living in fantasy
So we hit CTRL-Alt -Delete and start again.
But its a feeling of Groundhog Day.
That we are potential so close but as ever so far away.

Lo Celso I thought did well today and is a decent player in the squad. NBelly is a lazy, slow poor mans Pogba. Who ain’t all that himself. Record money spent on that is disgraceful.

As a fellow poster alluded to on a previous blog sullen crestfallen Mourinho already looks a defeated manager and presumably destined for the chop? Defending deep inviting pressure in the second half once Man Utd equalised the predictable outcome was sealed. Neither Lo Celso nor Ndombele are good enough and should be shipped out with the other deadwood in the summer!

My goodness, i didn’t see that coming.

He has an amazing CV and is the best coach in World football.

According to him, we outplay the opposition every week and never get what we deserve.

We are a dreadfully unlucky football team in terms of results but incredibly lucky to have Mourinho as Manager.

Please.

Greatest con our chairman has ever fallen for. Absolute buffoon !
