The category is: obscure European-based strikers touted for Spurs. In January, we had Krzysztof Piątek, Willian Jose, Ze Luis and several more.
And the latest is Real Betis forward Loren Moron, who Spanish outlet La Razon understands is a target for Jose Mourinho for next season.
As with the aforementioned trio of January links, I don’t know much about the Spaniard, but somebody who does is our new hero Giovani Lo Celso.
The Argentine playmaker played with Loren at Betis in the 2018-19 season so has already struck up a relationship with the 26-year-old target man, as this back-heel assist demonstrates – from 17 seconds into the below video:
Not much worth watching about the rest of the video, though. So I hope the Loren rumours go the same way as the Piatek and Willian Jose one’s did…
Do we really need a player called ‘moron’? Can you just imagine the Gooner stick and mocking we would get for that?
Looks strangely like a younger Eriksen. Probably falls within the Levy modelling parameters of young and cheap. Plus for some strange reasons his teammates seem to be able to actually cross the ball accurately which is beyond the capabilities of most of our lot.
