It is one thing to lose a game or two but when you start to lose the fans you have much bigger problems than you could imagine and that is what could be happening among the Tottenham fan base right now.
The perceived lack of effort, fight and desire from the players, the antics of the Chairman and ENIC and the hiring of Nuno Espirito Santo have left a large section of the fans very disillusioned with the club.
This evening Tottenham travel to the Molineux Stadium to take on Wolves in the Carabao Cup and to say that a number of fans are underwhelmed and in some cases, already given up, is an understatement of huge proportions.
Tottenham took to Twitter ahead of the game this evening with a simple tweet about the fixture and the fans responded and probably not in the way the club had hoped.
Here are a small selection of the responses to the said tweet and trust me, there are a whole lot more.
Waste of time – better to just forfeit this and arsenal as 3-0 losses and save the players fitness and fans money …

If these sorts of comments become endemic in the fan base then the future is far from bright and the club will face a very uncertain future, possibly even a declining one.
A competition that Levy sacked a big game manager specialist was sacked days before (yes I know your disdain for said mgr) but shows levys contempt even more so.
Pity it didn’t happen sooner.
The excuses are wearing thin, after 22 years…
It would av been better if Levy had got Stratford, at least then we could start again with something like the FC Utd folk did.
There’s an imposter taking up the high road.
It’s just a question of how long the fans give Levy before they hold him truly accountable. I STILL see people on social media saying “how is it down to Levy when Dele doesn’t perform and Tanguy can’t last 90 minutes?”
But – at least I hope – the tide is shifting. Levy can turn some people against Kane, Jose, Poch, but the number of those gullible enough to listen to his excuses grows smaller with every fiasco.
The only trophy Spurs have ever won under ENIC, 13 years ago I might add. A competition so prestigious that they’re now going to do away with it.
Levy is turning us into a laughing stock…
I’ve been disillusioned since the days of Njie, Nkoudou and Stambouli Nuno is just late comer no one wanted to hire, we sacked his teacher who won everything and now we expecting the student who never win anything in his life time to get us a lot of trophies what a world only in Enic/ Levy specialty.
Fish stinks from the head. The players lack of interest comes from knowing Spurs are a stepping stone to something better, at best. For many, it’s a career death sentence.
Amateur hour at the Lane, I mean whatever the fish bowl is called.
Our GD was wiped out in 1 game that’s when you know you are up hit creek without a paddle.
I see from the list you have to go down to 12th to match our -3.
Yes yes “we can turn it round” say the Clappers but how is the question. Even when we werent getting demolished we werent scoring.
