Tottenham Hotspur supporters really want Giovani Lo Celso to do well.
The Argentine is seen as the natural replacement for Christian Eriksen who has lost the faith of much of the fanbase with his half-hearted performances over the last 12 months, amidst his refusal to sign a new contract at Spurs.
A hip injury has limited Lo Celso to five short cameos as a substitute so far, the latest of which came in Sunday’s 2-1 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield.
And the 23-year-old midfielder has earned himself some of the bad blood being aimed at Eriksen with his post-match antics. This video shows him waiting in the tunnel to swap shirts with Mohamed Salah, moments after the Egyptian scored the match-winning goal in another pain loss.
Absolute state of this. We have just lost a game and lo celso is more worried about getting salah’s shirt. The same player who scored the pen to beat us.

It looks like Lo Celso is a little boy who admires Salah so much.

They are supposed to be ’enemys’ at and around the pitch.
Initially this may not reflect well on Lo Celso but in reality it means nothing. This sort of thing happens every week when the cameras are not there.
If you’re questioning Lo Celso’s desire because this, you take yourself too seriously. To see a true lack of desire, look at the man he was signed to replace.

We can only but reminisce. Test.
