Video – Jose Mourinho not too happy with the draw against Chelsea

By Bruce Grove -

Tottenham came away from Stamford Bridge with a point which was enough to see them go back to the top of the standings but Jose Mourinho is not a happy man.

He is not unhappy with the players, in fact, he shares his player’s unhappiness that they did not get the win this afternoon.

This shows the mentality that is now running through the club, a winning mentality, something we have been screaming out for years.

No you aren’t the only one mate.

Apart from a very solid debut for Rodon this was damage limitation rather than any sort of away smash and grab. Sure, we could have nicked it, we didn’t. So could they.

This is Jose’s approach, there are some lunatics around that think this is all part of some process towards fluid attacking football. I’m afraid his is it, this is what we now have.

I said before the game that if Kane and Son were nullified that we would have no means to win it because there are not enough opportunities to get other players into goal scoring positions playing this way.

We are top of the league which is great but I just saw a team trying not to get beaten rather than a team that wanted to win with intent. A point at their place is a good result but it’s the manner of the point gained. Boring, defensive football.

I hear we’re top of the league, so why am I feeling so underwhelmed?

I slept through the last 20mins of the game today. Ok I’d had a good lunch and most of a bottle of Rioja, but still, its the first time in over 50 years I’ve dozed off during a Spurs game.

Am I the only one who’s finding this so dull that they’re ceasing to care?
