Jose Mourinho really is a changed man, he is no longer baited by journalists trying to stir the pot and get a reaction from him, normally a controversial one.
Mourinho was asked what he thought about Roy Keane’s post-match comments that Tottenham would be secretly happy about a draw at Stamford Bridge.
Mourinho laughed, said that he respected Keane a lot and how he enjoyed working with him but that the former Man Utd captain was wrong.
Roy Keane loves to get a reaction. I do get his ‘I say it as i see it’ persona, but he is like every other Sky pundit with their ‘I cannot see past City and Liverpool for the title’ comments. Jose is just getting on with it, maybe we could have been a bit more adventurous yesterday, but the fact is we are top, on merit, and he knew that by not losing we would still be top for the whole week… I feel we have a lot more to come from the group of players, but I’m also happy to let people go ‘Spurs ain’t good enough to win the league, blah blah blah’, and see what happens !!
