Video – Harry Kane repays Lucas Moura with yet another assist

By Bruce Grove -

Lucas Moura set up Harry Kane for the first Tottenham goal this evening and Kane has repaid the favour by turning provider for his Brazilian teammate.

Kane is on fire with his assists this season and he is not doing too badly with the goals either.

Moura has been a busy bee this evening and deserved his goal, on more than one occasion he has been in the right position at the right time and a goal for the Brazilian was on the cards.

I fully concur with your sentiments. For want of repetition our next 4 PL fixtures is an accurate barometer of where we are against WBA, Man City, Chelsea and Arsenal respectively!

We may have taken 3 points there, but I didn’t see that performance as something to celebrate.
It looked entirely average against a really weak side. Once again, we made much too hard work of a side that’s nowhere near what we’re going to face when the CL clubs drop down, not to mention the top 6 in the PL.
And once again we concede to thwart a clean sheet.
I know I need to give Vinicius a bit of time to bed in, but from what I’ve seen he’s miles off the required standard. Bergwijn the same. Davies is awful, and our CB situation is alarming.
Don’t let a 3-1 against Ludogorets conjure delusions of grandeur.
There’s much, much work to be done.

Loads of good players have made it at Spurs but then fak orf to sunnier abodes and win stuff. Fazio didn’t cotton on.

I recall high hopes were expected of tall and gangly Fazio but he never made it at Spurs.

Agreed but it’s still a major headache.
As previously stated look at the some of the top teams in this competition, the likes of Roma, Napoli, Benfica, AC Milan,
Bayern Leverkusen et al, it’s a tough trophy to win.

Incidentally ex Spurs error prone FAZIO plays for Roma?

As long as we score more I don’t care.

As a Spurs fan I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how things have gone so far this season, but we won’t win anything and I’ll tell you why – we can’t keep clean sheets. 2 in 13 games doesn’t win you anything.

Surely nobody can argue with this??

One of our rivals who are heading upwards having tightened up defensively are
Chelsea.
