Video Evidence: Vinícius’ Best Actions From Last Night Plus A Huge Stat Nobody Is Mentioning Today

By The Boy -

Is the jury still out on Carlos Vinicius? I’d say until he can somehow impress José Mourinho more significantly in training, then it absolutely is still out. I’ll take a goal under ANY circumstances. A goal is a goal is a goal. That said, Carlos needs to show us something more exciting than what he has. Maybe, the Portuguese Pulis is behind yet another player’s stunted growth, sure, maybe that’s the solution. In which case, when the folded-arms-boy is given a proper chance by a proper coach, only then will the full talent be allowed to emerge…

The goals

The key stat that few people are discussing today? This hard-done-by a superstar that lost possession 14 times.

But this was only part of the puzzle. Only 42% of the lad’s total actions were successful. What an ace! Wake up, Mourinho! Pfffft.

He made some clever runs. His movements good. Just needs a run of games. Rusty touch. Danaldo. If he puts the work in like Kane does Kane better score untold if he wants to keep the tottenham goals record in the future. Danes gonna have a few years head start on him. I bet he watches Kane like a hawk in training. Troy&Dane. Rodon&japh. The futures bright

Pav, Mido, Adebayor when he couldn’t be bothered.

If ever there was proof that a hard working forward gets their reward, Harry Kane is it. If you don’t take note as a fellow pro then you might as well retire…

Please note that the bloke you’re slagging is a tuppence ‘apeny loanee wiv a CV that reads – ‘ex defender who was positioned further & further forward during his short career in some little league clubs’. His tramp stamp says Mister Byrite and I don’t think that’s his boyfriend.

Go on the It’sNotHisFaults!

Guy said. Imagine the noise. José wins nothing and finishes 5th. Flip that noise. José wins the double and finishes third. Both possible. Can you imagine the joy if tottenham did that. I can. Next season José bring an improved tottenham team into the champions League. If not we go again returning stronger. Tottenham are close. 2025 or before

Posted weeks ago that Vini needed to be returned in favour of A N Other and promoting Scarlett. The lad is young, hungry and looks as though he has some footballing nous.

A good attitude, liked within the squad. A strikers role is to score goals, done as requested. Looks tidy once inside the box. What are people expecting?

He’s barely played, new league, new team. Has he missed a heap of chances…nope.

Janssen & Soldado got off lightly in comparison.

Glad to see numbers corresponding to my overall feelings towards Vinicius yesterday. He was godawful in the first half, wasteful, losing possession with ineffective flicks, unable to shield the ball against a terrible team.

Yes, he scored twice in the second half, but the performance was the epitome of “goals are not always enough”. Goals may come or not but you have to pull your weight regardless – win duels, press, pass accurately, and don’t be stupid with the ball.
