This was supposed to be a fresh start after the pre-international break shambles at Tottenham Hotspur
But we have picked up exactly where we left off against Brighton & Hove Albion, conceding six minutes into our home match against bottom-of-the-table Watford this afternoon.
A five-man defence, consisting of four players who don’t appear to have a long-term future at the club, is undone by two simple passes.
Firstly, Danny Rose allows a punt forward to go over his head, and then Abdoulaye Doucoure gets goal-side of all three centre-backs.

#Watford had scored four goals in eight matches heading in to today. A wonderful team goal for #WatfordFC and Doucoure puts them atop #Spurs less than six minutes in to today's game. #TOTWAT #THFC #COYS pic.twitter.com/pk1dKukXmI
