Gareth Bale appears to have be woken from his celebrity guest appearance slumber; and to think there are still people out there who have misgivings over the mental robustness of José Mourinho. Does anyone really believe that the leaked Hotspur Way audio and the less than ambiguous words of wisdom about consistency in training that told the world José was unhappy with Bale.
None of us are insensitive to Bale’s age and injury situation, but has he been giving us his absolute best? Last night we got a whopping 97-minutes of the Welshman, opposed to his last 3 games where we saw just 28, 46 and 49-minutes.
