Harry Kane is a vital piece in the Tottenham Hotspur squad. The 28-year-old scored a brace against Manchester City, including the game-winning goal late in the match during stoppage time.
Ahead of Spurs’ matchup against Burnley, manager Antonio Conte spoke about keeping Kane in the starting eleven for the north London club.
Furthermore, the Italian tactician was in a good mood following the win over Manchester City. He joked that even if the England international were walking on one leg, he’d still put him in the lineup.
“He had a hit in his back, but he has to play! If he has one leg, he has to play. Harry knows very well the importance he has on the squad for his personality, for his experience,” Conte said, per Football.London.
“But he is good. I am joking; I don’t force a player if he is injured to play. I only say to tell you the importance of the player. He is good; he is ready.”
