Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen has named Wolves winger Adama Traore as the toughest opponent of his career.
The 33-year-old admitted that Traore at Molineux this season, the game in which Jan himself scored the winner, gave him a more difficult time than any outing against Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez or Sergio Aguero.

This may seem like a surprise admission from Vertonghen, considering the calbire of players that he has come up against over the last 14 years.
But we all remember his ordeal against Traore. For me, it was then, and not the FA Cup substitution against Southampton, when Super Jan lost his cape.
And it takes a brave man to recognise that too.
Yep, that’s when he looked like he’d lost it to me as well.
