Two Tottenham men make the team of the week

By Bruce Grove -

Last weekend was another action-packed weekend in the Premier League with several games played.

Crystal Palace, Tottenham and Liverpool were all involved in their local derbies, and interestingly all those games ended in draws.

West Ham came from three goals down in the final eight minutes excluding injury time to pick up a 3-3 draw against Tottenham.

But the Lilywhites made a fine start to that game.

They were 3-0 to the good before the 20th minute and it looked set for yet another routine win for them.

Their fine start to the game was assisted by two of their most in-form players who helped them with the goals.

Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min combined to help the Lilywhites with Kane scoring twice while Son scored the other goal.

The Englishman also provided the assist for Son’s goal to continue his fine run of form.

Both players have now been rewarded with places in Whoscored’s Team of the Week.

According to them, Kane scored an average rating of 10.0 for his fine show, and he was the highest-rated player on the list.

Son scored an average rating of 8.31 to feature in the team alongside his teammate.

He was our best player first half.

He dropped a level second half.

Jury is out as to whether he can keep at the required level for 90 mins.

Provided he can stay at his current level of fitness or even improve upon it, Ndomby is an absolute stud. He dominated the midfield on Sunday, until he was taken off. So from my perspective, the jury has delivered its verdict!

Edwards not Rashford!
Funny old game this football when slaughtered by Spurs Solskjaer
was facing the gallows. Roll on a couple of weeks after beating PSG in their backyard everything is a lot rosier. So true the addage that ultimately judged on results a manager is as good as his last game!
