As the transfer window reopens, some footballers will be thinking about their future, most of them are players who are struggling to break into the first team of their club.
It is a tough job to break into the senior side at a club when you have to breakthrough from the academy, and that is why most youngsters leave their parent clubs early for more first-team chances.
That will likely be the case for Tottenham youngster, Luke Amos, according to The Athletic correspondent, Charlie Eccleshare.
The teenager broke into the Tottenham first team in 2016, but he never really kicked on from making his Premier League debut for them and he has spent most of the past few seasons out on loan.
The goal for every player when they go out on loan is to impress enough to come back and earn a first-team place, but that hasn’t been the case for Amos.
At the age of 23 and having spent time on loan at teams like Southend, Stevenage and QPR, he is not certain that he will be afforded time on the Spurs’ first team at the moment.
He is no longer so young to want to remain with no guarantee of first-team football and Eccleshare claims that a permanent move away is likely to happen before the start of next season, with QPR and Middlesbrough two teams willing to take a chance on him.
