Tottenham name their price for Harry Kane as Levy makes big decision – Report

By Mehdi Gokal -

The Harry Kane transfer saga continues to dominate the headlines this transfer window.

The Tottenham striker has been strongly linked with a move away from the club, with Bayern Munich emerging as the leading candidates for his signature.

Bayern has already had two bids rejected for Kane, which were worth £60 million and £70 million, falling significantly short of Tottenham’s initial valuation of £100 million.

However, the Bundesliga giants remain undeterred in their pursuit and have reportedly convinced Kane to join them, with manager Thomas Tuchel playing a key role in persuading the England star. This reportedly left Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy ‘furious’.

But Bayern are said to be preparing a third improved offer for Kane with the hope that the player would help push for the move to happen.

Adding to the drama, Bayern’s honorary president gave an explosive interview to Kicker yesterday, calling out Levy for his “playing for time” tactics and insisted that Kane has already made the decision to join Bayern. He urged Spurs to “name a price.”

And according to the latest report from L’Equipe, Tottenham has now named their price for Kane. They want €116M for Kane as per the French outlet.

Furthermore, Daniel Levy has made it clear that Kane must either sign a new contract with the club or be sold this summer. This decision indicates that Tottenham wants to avoid the risk of losing him on a free transfer next summer.

It will be interesting to see how this ends in the coming weeks but there is a huge chance Kane will not be a Tottenham player next season.
