Tottenham make decision on the future of four players including star with 447 appearances

By Saikat -

Tottenham Hotspur are looking to rebuild their squad ahead of the new season and they are ready to cash in on some of their fringe players.

According to a report from London Evening Standard, Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou is looking to wield the axe and up to four players could leave this summer.

The likes of Joe Rodon, Tanguy Ndombale, Djed Spence and Hugo Lloris could all leave the club this summer.

Rodon was on loan at Rennes last season and he is unlikely to get regular game time at Tottenham in the upcoming season. It makes sense for him to move on permanently and get his career back on track.

Ndombele was on loan at Napoli last year and the midfielder is in a similar situation. There is no doubt that he can be a quality option for Tottenham and it remains to be seen whether Postecoglou is prepared to give him an opportunity.

Spurs already have three right-backs at their disposal and it is no surprise that they are looking to cash in on Spence. The 22-year-old has barely had an opportunity to prove himself and he will be disappointed if a summer transfer materialises in the next few days.

Finally, Hugo Lloris is in the final year of his contract with Tottenham and it makes sense for the London club to sell him now rather than lose for free next summer. He has regressed substantially over the past year and Spurs have already replaced him in the starting line up with Guglielmo Vicario.

Lloris has been a tremendous servant for the club since joining them but it is the right time for both parties to go separate ways. He has played 447 games for the club across all competitions.
