Former Arsenal binge drinker (maybe he still is) Paul Merson took another round of slaps courtesy of Tottenham fans who have not forgotten the ridiculous statement he made about Harry Kane under Jose Mourinho.
For those who do not recall what Merson said here are some selected quotes from the Sky Sports pundit:
“When Jose took the job I worried for Harry Kane,”
“I think he’ll have a serious think at the end of the season, I really do. I don’t see him getting 25-30 goals next season with the way Jose will want to play.
Fair enough, everyone is entitled to their opinion, especially if it is your job to express such opinions.
But when you make such ludicrous statements you run the risk of being mocked and Merson, who is clearly an atrocious pundit, is getting ridiculed almost weekly by unforgiving fans.

Merson really is a clown and fully deserves the ridicule he is being subjected to.
Maybe next time he will engage his brain before he opens that useless gob of his. He was an average footballer, an even worse pundit and we will never allow him to forget his foolish uneducated comments about the best striker in England.

Well for a start he doesn’t need a red nose, and he is yet another of these so called pundits being paid to spout drivel or the bleedin obvious !
Well, I fart a lot……but that does not mean I should be stopped.
Unfortunately, in my humble opinion, Merson knows exactly what he is saying. Him, and also that other little clown Wiltshere, are given platforms to air their views, and every now and again they just cannot resist a dig at us. I didn’t hear him say ‘Aubameyang will not score goals playing on the left wing’ !! The sooner all ex-goons stop being given platforms to use to spout nonsense with the better!
