Tottenham challenging Juventus for possible Harry Kane replacements

By Bruce Grove -

The arrival of Fabio Paratici is expected to see Tottenham become one of the most competitive teams in England again.

The Lilywhites want to keep Harry Kane, but he has asked to leave and they are now looking for a replacement.

Selling and replacing the England captain might be one of Paratici’s first jobs at Tottenham.

The Italian is now set to battle his former club, Juventus for attacking targets, according to Tuttosport via Football Italia.

The report says Paratici is considering a move for PSG striker, Mauro Icardi and Manchester City frontman, Gabriel Jesus.

Paratici was in charge of transfers as Juve were continually linked with a move for Icardi and the Old Ladies remain interested.

He brought the Argentinean to Serie A side Sampdoria from Barcelona at the start of the striker’s career.

A reunion at Tottenham might be a good idea, but Juve will hardly back down in their pursuit.

It will be interesting to see where Icardi ends up, but he and Jesus aren’t the only players linked to both clubs.

The report says Paratici is trying to bring Juventus’ chief scout Lorenzo Giani with him to London and that could see even more players get linked with both clubs.

Dusan Vlahovic and Arek Milik are two other strikers that each club wants, claims the same report.
