Tottenham boost as midfield target rejects new contract

By Bruce Grove -

Tottenham has been handed a boost in their bid to land AC Milan midfielder, Franck Kessie after he rejected the latest contract offer from his present club.

The Lilywhites have been interested in a move for him since last season, according to TalkSport.

They reported in March that Arsenal and Spurs want to bring the Ivorian to the Premier League.

He has been in talks with Milan over a contract extension since last summer and there is still no agreement between him and the club.

Todofichajes says he has rejected Milan’s latest contract offer from them even though it was very close to the figure he was demanding.

It claims that will probably be their last offer and that opens the door for Spurs to get their man.

They can get him to sign a pre-contract agreement with them at the end of this year or they can sign him for a low fee in the January transfer window.

However, landing him will not be easy because the report claims PSG is also on a mission to make him their player.

Considering the spending power that they have, Spurs could miss out on his signature to the French giants.
