I waxed lyrical about Wolves and some of their players on this blog prior to them defeating us at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium a couple of weeks ago.
MORE: Wolves – The Side That Spurs Could Be [Opinion]
Raul Jimenez, Adama Traore, Diogo Jota, Ruben Neves, Matt Doherty, et.al
It seems I’m not their only admirer as ESPN reports that Wolves’ impressive rise over the last 18 months has made their top talents hot property.
The man on Spurs’ radar is apparently Jimenez, who has scored 26 goals in all competitions this season and contributed a further 13 assists. Prolific, strong, mobile, technical; the Mexican is as close to a complete striker as you’ll find in the Premier League, except of course for Harry Kane.
And while the prospect of having Jimenez to play alongside and cover for Kane is mouthwatering, these Spurs fans on Twitter know it is a fairytale…
Great shout but doubt Wolves will accept £5million and a season ticket in exchange.

We’ll get his second or third alternative because that the Levy FC way.

He’s fantastic: no way he’s coming

😂😂😂 unless he’s got a 15 million release clause Levy won’t afford him. Heard we were after Mbappe, Neymar and Messi as well!!!!

The only way our board will go for Jimenez is if we inherit a truck load of gold from selling Kane, and I don’t want to think about that right now.
But if and when the time comes – go and get him.
Typical Enic decoy to calm the restless fans. Rather have Damiao!
