There is still time for Juan Foyth to save his Tottenham career but not too much

By Bruce Grove -

Tottenham flop Juan Foyth could still have a future at Tottenham as players return to training ahead of the season restart.

The Argentinian has been struggling to get into Spurs first team since Jose Mourinho became the club’s manager.

The Portuguese boss has considered other players better than him in that position.

Several reports recently claimed that the defender would be sold in the summer and he has even been offered to Barcelona.

Italian side, Sampdoria has also been linked with a move for him in recent days.

However, Football London is claiming that the Argentinean has another chance to save his Tottenham career.

The report names him as one player that has a point to prove as the teams return to training.

Jose Mourinho will no doubt take a good look at every member of his team and the Portuguese boss could give another chance to Foyth if he feels that the defender can contribute effectively to the team.

Foyth joined Spurs for £8 million in 2017 as the Lilywhites beat competition from the likes of PSG to land him from Argentina.

They will look to make a good profit on him in the event that Mourinho decides that he wants to see the back of the 22-year-old.
