“Thanks Daniel!” – Jamie Carragher trolls the Spurs chairman for failure to land Luis Díaz

By Eddie Razo -

Tottenham Hotspur was in the running to land Colombia international Luis Díaz from FC Porto during the January transfer window. The north London club wanted to upgrade their attack and had their eyes on the 25-year-old.

However, Díaz would end up with Liverpool FC, and the winger is making an impact right out of the gate. This weekend, he scored a goal and provided two key passes against Brighton & Hove Albion FC.

Following the 2-0 win against The Seagulls, English football pundit and Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher went on Twitter to troll Spurs chairman Daniel Levy for their inability to land the former Porto man.

“Luis Diaz’s impact could turn this season into a special one for Liverpool the club only signed him in January because Spurs made an offer, thanks Daniel!” Carragher tweeted

Now, Tottenham did secure their winger in Dejan Kulusevski, who has also impressed since arriving in north London from Juventus in January. The 21-year-old has scored two goals and recorded three assists in seven Premier League fixtures.

It’s a circumstance where both clubs are making an impact with their new club, so a situation where both sides are happy.

Daniel Levy the most miserable failure in football.
Actually I must temper my anger as I stated a few days ago he is just the puppet he puppetmaster is the old chunter in the Bahamas.
Tell me old Joe why exactly do you need all this money you are in your 80s.

We don’t need Carragher to tell us the obvious, even though his arrival was extremely unlikely.

Diaz is a much higher grade of player than.Kulu. Hey but what matters is that Kulu is a young punt and cheaper. What’s not to like in that for Levy. When Conte walks through lack of support Levy will look to return the non winning PSG coach Pooch to his rightful place at the non winning football club. The virtuous ENIC and Levy circle will be complete and another five year project can be announced.
