Which Tanguy Ndombele are we going to see when the Premier League season resumes?
The £53.8m midfielder who was wanted by the biggest clubs in Europe, or the pretender who couldn’t even get around the pitch? [Transfer fee according to BBC Sport]
If this clip from our 11 vs. 11 practice match at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is anything to go by, it could be the player we thought we’d signed.

I’m not convinced he ever had the ball under full control as he skipped through the gap in the defence, but the extended footage via the link below shows Ndombele’s at least looking leaner and sharper.

Very hard to see exactly what he is doing there, but footage of him in France shows he has a remarkable first touch and he can exit the tightest spaces. A lot of his problems seem to be down to not being happy maybe having trouble settling in a new country /new team. Hopefully the club have been helping him. The clips I have seen of him in France unless they’re misleading show a player with superb feet and ball control.
Gonna be a menace he is. The moment he finds his form here its all over.
