Preseason friendlies are very rarely worth the price of admission, and preseason friendlies that clash with International friendlies rarely worth watching. Once the full match full data emerges tomorrow afternoon we can take a detailed look at who did what and so forth.
Right now, my gut feeling is that we’re still awful to watch when core players aren’t available, and this is something it will absolutely take José Mourinho several seasons to address. Not rectify; address.
The business of Tanguy Ndombele’s Coronavirus is a puzzler. The announcement that the Frenchman had COVID-19 came out on the 27th of August courtesy of many media outlets, including L’Equipe.
Incidentally, please read that report, and please also read the British Government guidelines here. 14 days quarantine, my friends. Two weeks. A fortnight. Half a month. Yet here we are… and the translation is from Google, there’s nothing complex that has been misinterpreted.

So we are left wondering how many days is ‘several days’. From the 27th of August to the 5th of September is 8. Over a week. Is over week, ‘several days’?
Sweden versus France is later today and France versus Croatia is on Tuesday. So if the boy was genuinely poorly, then why wasn’t he available to play for his country?

As I have stated in another thread I know people have quoted poor first seasons for Modric and others (maybe Berbatov) but the difference is this bloke’s attitude appears to stink.
Either his body is breaking down or he can’t be arsed.
I absolutely want to be posting in a year’s time saying “hands up he has turned out great” but if I were a betting man I wouldn’t put a quid on it.
The story is he’s been here for one year and does not appear to be making any form of progress in settling at the club, improving his fitness or showing the right attitude for a professional footballer. The situation is strange to say the least, something has to give, he should commit to the club or move on.
Not sure about the selling part. We need to get rid. He will never come through for us.

About the only thing he could catch lazy fat c*nt attitude get rid asap
I don’t think there’s a story here. The article said, that he was tested positive several days ago. So he was probably tested positive around the 20th. Deschamps didn’t want to take any risks and therefore decided that he should stay at home. After 14 days and a few negative tests he was able to train and play today.
Seems pretty standard to me.
You should look into the case of Robert Enke and question your obsession and negativity with this player.
Levy is not going to sell by the way.
At a push quarantine is 10 days if you had it and it clashed with travel??
