Spurs vs Royal Antwerp: What’s With The Early Kick Off And Is There A Free Stream?

By The Boy -

Royal Antwerp are tonight’s opponents as Tottenham’s war of Europa attrition continues in the Group Stage. This is an early bird kick-off folks, so be in front of your screens and devices for 17:55, sharp!

There’s an added dash of excitement for this evening, with the news that Gareth Bale is set to be in the starting XI; there’s a comedy stat currently doing the rounds, in so much that Bale last scored for Spurs May 2013.

We’re @8/15 to win which is the bookies gently pointing out that Mourinho’s emerging track record pretty tasty, all things considered. Royal Antwerp are @5/1 which is quite a leveller for a side that is unbeaten in their last 5 games in all competitions.

Eric Dier and Tanguy Ndombele have not travelled.

It’s probably paper talk, I’m sure the Russians could afford him but Russia is a football backwater despite the size of the country. Don’t think Poch would touch it…

Seems that you were right! It’s the performance that was the concern for me, a continuing them from the Burnley game. Flat and uninspired…

Yes but how many of the players representing the national side ply their trade in Belgium? COYS!

Honestly, cant see him taking it, but then the question needs to be asked – how long can he wait for united to pull the trigger?

I’m not sure they should be under-estimated. They are currently top of the Belgium League, on a 7 match unbeaten run and Belgium right now are ranked #1 in world football by FIFA. I think this might be more of a stern test than you expect.

AVB went there. I guess you’ll get paid all the McMafia money you can carry in a brown paper bag or shuffle through the Cayman Islands. Not sure Poch will want that though.

Could go and earn a load of cash for 18 months before coming back to replace Jose I suppose….

Poch linked to Zenit St Petersburg – some gutter trash red tops are saying he is in interviews with them.

Yeah, it’s like pre-season. It’s a lot of games but the opponents are so bad it’s fairly stress free if you have a big squad and helps with game time.

If we win big tonight we are obviously in the grip of a footballing revolution and we shall sweep all before us aside! They’re League 1 standard, if that mate! 😂

Yep if levy tops up the squad with one or two each season we should stay competitive.

Agree I think it’s been for our benefit apart from maybe the travelling.

It does serve a good purpose I suppose. Keeping the squad happy, fitness, European blood some youts ect. Too many games though. This will be the last time we’ll be in this competition for a good while I reckon.
