Tottenham have confirmed on the official website that Ryan Sessegnon has sustained a hip injury which will sideline him for Sunday’s trip to Wolves.
The 19-year-old was a late withdrawal from the squad to face Chelsea last weekend because of “muscle tightness”, according to Dan Kilpatrick of the London Evening Standard, with Oliver Skipp taking his place on the bench.

It would be kind on Tottenham’s typically vague communication on injuries to say they have shed light on the issue, but they have revealed that Sess is “continuing on-field rehabilitation and is unavailable for this weekend.”
We appear to be another left-back option down with 17-year-old Dennis Cirkin taking to social media to post pictures of him in a protective boot.
The caption “back to square 1 again” suggests it could be a serious injury.
Highly rated academy prospect, Dennis Cirkin seems to have sustained a serious injury.

Speedy recovery, @DCirkin3! 👊 pic.twitter.com/I10ioANQbk
With Ben Davies back in the picture, Cirkin’s chances of first-team action this season were unlikely, but he has been included in a couple of matchday squads and Jose Mourinho has namechecked him as one to watch out for.
Davies, Jan Vertonghen and Japhet Tanganga give us plenty of cover in this position so Mourinho won’t be left short as he has been at the other end.
Next year better see us win more and finish top 3 or it’s a bust. Kane and Son back from injury. Bergwijn and Lo Celso with more system experience and a few transfers to shore up the defense. Come on you Spurs, I’m waiting!
So we spent 40 mil on to young uns one we loaned straight out and never got game time the other was injured and has never recovered it seems . Nice one Levy again with your wise investments ,one of which we could have gotten earlier for nothing from what i remember. Shambles.
