Report: Spurs Set To Announce Record Revenue Of Over £400m

By Joe Fish -

Tottenham are expected to announce within the next week a club-record annual revenue of over £400m, according to Football Insider.

That would eclipse the £380.7m figure that Spurs recorded for the previous tax year, with significant rises in income for broadcasting, as well as match day and commercial following the opening of the new stadium.

Football Insider also understands we pocketed £85m from the run to the Champions League final. Nearly as much as I spent on beer after the Ajax game.

However, profits are expected to be down from last year’s post-tax gain of £112.9m which was the highest ever registered in the Premier League.

Possibly because we actually signed some players this year, even though the likes of Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso are yet to repay much of that investment on the pitch.

And don’t think that the increase in revenue is going to be ringfenced for Jose Mourinho to make further signings. Because history tells you it won’t be.

This report suggests that we are already seeing the money-making power of the new stadium, but that may only lead to more frustration when the recruitment doesn’t match up.

It’s a really facked up situation, and every time that man sounds off about ‘doing what’s best for Spurs’ it sounds more and more ridiculous after 20 years.

The Glazers and the people that run Woolwich are almost as bad these days. At least they’re remote and don’t keep making stupid and empty statements about how much they’re giving to the club.

Donna Cullen’s little set piece the other summer regarding Skipp and Amos meaning no signings were required for example.

Levy saying things like “who knows if spending more on players would have helped”. He’s utterly out of touch and he treats the fan base like some thicko mass of sheep who’ll accept this garbage as fact.

Unbelievably some of them still do… 😂

The 85 mil champions league final run is a huge chunk.. What a ginormous amount of money though. If baldy refuses to get another striker in the summer I will lose all faith completely. What little i have left. Its corruption really milking the club with no ambition to win and no intention to invest back into the team. Humpty dumpty even makes sure he makes profit on every single player. Hes like scrooge and dr evil rolled into one.

The flat earth/Leveyologists will straight away point to profits being down as to why we still can’t compete in the transfer market…..

Remember this, these are the same people who think no world class striker would come to us to play second fiddle to one of our own !

This is why we struggle in the transfer market levy still playing the poor beggar.
whilst we publically get shown to be rich if we reinvest we may stop the falling backwards. Levy wouldn’t even buy a pillow to break the fall
