Spurs loan star will not wear the Tottenham shirt again

By Bruce Grove -

Football Insider claims that Cameron Carter-Vickers has reached the end of the road as a Tottenham player.

The 22-year-old USA international has been at Tottenham since he was 11 and is yet to break into the club’s first team on a regular basis.

He got a taste of first-team football under Mauricio Pochettino before spending part of last season out on loan from the club.

The Lilywhites were keen to sell him in the last transfer window as he entered the final year of his current deal at the club.

They didn’t get any buyer and late into the transfer window, he was shipped out on loan to Bournemouth.

He is yet to play for the Cherries as he is still building up his fitness level, but the report claims that he has played his last game for Tottenham.

This is because his current deal runs out at the end of this season and Tottenham has no plans to hand him a new contract.

At 22, he still has a lot to offer, but Spurs are building a championship-winning team, and he isn’t of the right quality to make a telling contribution to their cause at the moment.
