Sources Close To Club: Dele Alli Being Offered On Loan To Anyone Who Can Meet Levy’s Terms

By The Boy -

Dele Alli’s time under the Special One has been decidedly unspectacular, and the Portuguese even went as far as calling the boy out in front of all his teammates, in the recent All or Nothing documentary series.

Dumped by England boss Gareth Southgate, it looks as if the once promising career of the now 24-year-old is rapidly falling apart before his eyes. Yes, he was occasionally good for Tottenham, but a professional footballer lives and dies at the hands of his own consistency. Dele Alli is complete failure on the consistency stakes. ‘Frightening decline’ was the phrase that The Sun opted for when recently examining his international record.

I understand from a source close to the club that Spurs are open to loan offers for the Milton Keynes born star, and that Daniel Levy is looking for a side that will meet the proposed loan terms, which at present, include that for any interested side to pay 100% of Alli’s wages.

The problem Dele has is perhaps best summed up by addressing the ‘ah, but he’s been injured’ excuse, head on. Many other players have picked up injuries, and in the main they do not take forever to return to form. Harry Kane’s reputation is a good example, no matter what setbacks he encounters – his determination always gets him back in business.

The disinterest shown in Dele by Real Madrid as reported in the Telegraph , is just merely the latest bump in the road for a player that has failed to kick on from some great moments under Pochettino – great moments that are now barely visible in the rear view mirror.

Digging out Dele as much as Jose has seems a bit lopsided. He’s given Dier loads of slack, Toby and Lamela too. I’m not saying any of them should be dug out but I’m sure Dele wouldn’t have taken too kindly to being called “f*cking lazy guy in training” and have it make the cut in the Atrocious Reality TV Show.

Alll this ‘overpaid and spoiled, let em have it!’ thing just doesn’t work these days. Players have a lot of power, you need their respect but you need to respect them too. Otherwise you lose them…

I want players in and the manager backed, whoever it is. I just want this stuff to be long term, genuine and ambitious. After over 20 years of false dawns under Levy.

If he changes i’ll be backing everything he does that’s positive. I have nothing against the man personally, I don’t know him. We can only judge him on what he does. The last two decades there has been time wasting of epic proportions and wilfully passing up opportunities to kick on.

Forgive my cynicism please… 🤔 😂

What about the 850m debt that we never had before building it? That’s not going away.

Not ‘New Stadium’ money at all.

The net spend in the five seasons previous to last summer (before the Tanguy and Gio deals basically) was 17th highest in the Premiership.

That money came from saving up the Champions League revenues from four seasons including the run to the final. I’m not saying the stadium won’t produce extra income, but first there an 850m debt to serve…

He signed a new contract at Bayern in 2017 for £12m euros per year about £200,000 per week.

I was wondering, even at 35, if Spurs might have tried to re-sign Modric. He’s better than what we’ve got now, in Winks and Sissoko.

And the Nobel prize he will expect for finally opening a can of beans.

And it didn’t show that his stats per minute played were better than Grealish, Mount and Maddison.
There is still a player in there and I thought he was playing better than half the outfield that returned to the pitch on Sunday.
The penny will drop with Dele, or he might actually just be as thick as he appears in tbe documentary.
His mind was blown by the variations of loading up a toothbrush ffs!

I think Liverpool’s owners are serious about winning because with that comes the financial windfall. They haven’t been pumping money in to the team like a benevolent uncle or a charitable foundation. They want the money on their investment back make no mistake.

Yes the boy is yesterday’s news. All those finger exercises took it out of him. Recently he’s looked a shadow of his former self, I think he misses Poch.

The new stadium will certainly start to pay for itself the minute they let the fans back in.We gave N’dombele £200,000 per week,Harry’s on the same and Bale £300,000.We will get there but I don’t think with another striker to be bought & wages for him that they currently will be buying another midfielder and paying what Tiago will be getting at Liverpool, great player.

Why not? Arsenal pay 150m more than us on wages annually. It’s the going rate for a top player… I thought the new stadium changed things and we can’t keep up with Arsenal?

Liverpool’s owners are serious about their football. Levy’s all about bums on seats and revenues… oh, and spending a little as possible.

I’m not so sure.I believe he’s only on 135K/week at Bayern. They don’t pay as much as some might think.

I noticed the stats didn’t show how much time he spent sat on his butt on the pitch.

It looks like Pooh have finally moved on Thiago, rumoured 20M with 5M add ons.He is exactly what we need and we should have moved to take advantage of Klopp’s reticence to buy at the time.To me that’s a great price.

This might be nit picking after today’s news, but he would have really completed a great window.Ah well another one missed.

The table above is wrong it doesn’t show Dele scored 8 goals & 4 assists in the PL in 2019/20. In total PL p157 Goals 50 Assists 33. Who is currently bettering his stats?

More about differing perceptions. Dele sees himself as a footballer, Jose doesn’t.

So Levy’s pimping out Dele boy? Can’t say there’ll be a long line of takers outside Levy’s door to hire him. Time to pay Newcastle back for Sissoko.

with the front line now I would kill for a modric or a committed eriksen in the middle to link it all together. hopefully Gio can shine

There aren’t too many Spurs players that have set the world on fire recently but Dele is copping all the flack some of it justified.

A player that is also living on past glories is Son but nobody is having go. Dier generally dreadful but is Mourinho’s pin up boy, who knows why, same as that Energiser bunny Lucas another Jose favourite, covers acres of grass to what effect.

Lamela the always promising 27 year old another favourite. Sissoko, Winks, Aurier, Sanchez, Davies even wobbly, my legs have gone Toby all given free passes.

Shame about Ndombele’s form because if he was even half living up to the price tag I’d have near zero reservations over Alli being dumped for this season.

As it is, with Alli looking gone – and I’m being greedy – I’d still like to see another attacking mid come in. I just can’t trust Ndombele yet…
