Our boy Sonny has won September’s Goal Of The Month, and while I’m sure the Premier League panel take into account more than just how the final ball is put over the line, it wasn’t an incredible strike.
What was incredible however, was Tanguy Ndombele’s contribution. Indeed, if it hadn’t been for the Frenchman’s perseverance and blindingly excellent ball whilst under pressure, the build up to that entire move wouldn’t have happened.
Mourinho has some serious talent at his disposal.

Bounced? looked like he was trying to assualt both of them.
I liked the way he did a Dembele.
Got the ball bounced a player off him then passed.
Try and stop Jim White..!
I agree. But don’t whatever you do mention the degree to which luck plays a part in the beautiful game, it doesn’t fit the current media driven hyperbolic propaganda filled sales pitch paradigm. Goals are scored all over the country at various levels which are good, but do the same in a Premier League club shirt and it’s instantly SENSATIONAL.
Don’t want to be too critical, as Kane got the credit for all the assists, but his ball for the first was over hit and pushed Son much wider, which made the strike all the better.
And I don’t think Kane’s control for Son’s 4th was planned as he had to go wider for a poor first touch, but it still all came off brilliantly though..!
Tanguy came after talking to Poch over the phone. Might have been a bit gutted at the change of coach with Poch’s track record improving young players.
Tanguy has the talent, he just needs to knuckle down under Jose now and help the team.
