From his Premier League debut against Liverpool to his ability to establish himself as a key part of the senior Tottenham squad, Japhet Tanganga has had a memorable campaign thus far.
The 20-year-old got his break from Jose Mourinho in January, and he has now gone on to make 11 appearances for the first team across all competitions.
Versatile, pacy, physically imposing and with good awareness and reading of the game, the youngster appears to have a bright future ahead of him if he can continue to improve and develop his game.
Having impressed to date and with the expectation that he will continue to get better with experience and playing time, Tottenham will undoubtedly come under increasing pressure to secure his long-term future.
Tanganga’s current contract expires this summer, but as seen in the video above, he’s surely done enough to earn a long-term future at the club already as he’s shown plenty of positive early signs.
