The January transfer window has come and gone, but that doesn’t mean the rumor mills are trying up. Last month only provided a limited time for Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte to mold the squad into his vision.
According to Calciomercato (via Sky Sports), Tottenham is interested in a summer move for AS Roma winger Nicolò Zaniolo. The 22-year-old has made 26 appearances for the Italian club, scoring four goals and registering five assists.
However, the north London club will have some competition for the Italy international as Juventus will rival Spurs in the race to land the right-winger. When it comes to the possible cost, Transfermarkt puts his value at £29-million, with the forward under contract until 2024.
Conte will have the opportunity to makeover the squad in a few months, which allows him to compete with the upper-echelon in the Premier League.
