Report: Tottenham Hotspur interested in a loan deal for Juventus outcast

By Eddie Razo -

Tottenham Hotspur could be on the verge of adding to their squad as the January transfer window fast approaches. The north London-based club wants to add to their midfield and attack, so it seems they might be on the verge that can help them in both areas.

According to Calciomercato, Tottenham would like to work out a loan deal to reunite Managing Director of Football Fabio Paratici with Dejan Kulusevski, who he brought to Juventus from Parma.

Juventus would like to find someone to take the 21-year-old off their hands for €35-million (£29.4-million), but it doesn’t seem Spurs want a permanent deal yet. Despite Paratici hoping to reunite with one of his former players, Tottenham isn’t the only club expressing interest.

The Juventus’ winger has failed to solidify a place, so Tottenham does take on some risk, but perhaps a change of scenery and at a club where a director believes in him might do the young player well.

The report adds that fellow north London club Arsenal is also expressing interest in Kulusevski. The Sweden international has made 62 appearances scoring eight goals and registering six assists.

Kulusevski is under contract until 2025 with the Serie A side.

We don’t want wingers obviously, it’s going to be hard to find a place for Gil as it is. Also we don’t want other clubs rejects either. Come on Levy show some ambition for once.

Yes he did.. but he is not a wingback…lol. aah the follies and fables continue. We looking for a $60m striker to fill a $2.00 position to get us to next summer and we reported competing for a winger. You can’t make this crap up.

Can he cross a ball, play simple passes with both feet, prepared to run at a fullback & have the work rate to play 90 minutes? If so, sign him up as none of our current crop of wingers offer this…
