Report: Tottenham battling Arsenal, Chelsea to land Man City star this summer

By Eddie Razo -

Tottenham Hotspur will be in the market this summer to add more scoring depth behind their two talented forwards in Harry Kane and Son Heung-min. With manager Antonio Conte wanting to win silverware next season, Spurs can’t lean solely on their two players to provide the goals.

Last January, the north London club began adding some depth when they brought in Dejan Kulusevski from Juventus in January. The deal worked out for them as the Sweden international didn’t take long to adapt to the Premier League.

Another forward the Tottenham could be in the market for this summer is Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling. According to the Mirror’s Simon Mullock (via City Xtra), Arsenal, Tottenham, and Chelsea are all interested in signing Sterling.

However, Sterling isn’t only keen on remaining in the Premier League as the Manchester City winger holds an ambition to play on the continent, giving him a wide choice of clubs both at home and abroad.

Having a massive assault rifle tattoo on his leg as a high profile sportsman with all the youth street violence around, just shows where his priorities lie. That’s glorification I’m afraid, whatever excuse he might make. Does it show it being depicted as snapped in half, crossed out, made to look a bad thing? I’d love to know why he thinks that was a good idea.

Ok, none of us know what these people are like in person and he might be good as gold and just another one of those thick footballers. I’ll just let him off for being thick then…

He’s got great pace and ability to accelerate which he has put to good use. If he wasn’t English though he’d be seen at about Bergwjin’s level, if not less than that. Totally overrated, like so many England players over the years…

What exactly is this opinion based on? All I see is a pretty private lad who doesn’t court the media, and when he does speak he talks sense

When he was the first scorer Pep signed, didn’t he scored over 20 goals with an aging Kun? I thought that was the idea of a system to find players to will fit into it seamless and produce. But what do I know, but that I would sign a winner thans so guy in a foreign leave with am inflated valuation. Not that I would sign Sterling, Jesus would be my guy.

Agree, and not a likeable person to go with it.

I’d wait until he is on free next summer. His numbers have been on a downward curve for two seasons. 2017 – 2020 were his most productive in terms of goals to games. Do Spurs really need this player? Unless of course he is used as an upgrade on Bergwijn and improves our English quota despite being born in Jamaica.

No thanks.I really don’t understand the adulation of this average player.Selfish and poor decision making. He has benefitted from playing in a very good City side,I doubt Pep will agree with me.
