The backline is a top priority for Tottenham Hotspur this summer, and various players are linked to help fill this need on the north London side. One of them is Torino FC’s Gleison Bremer.
Bremer appears to be the top candidate after reports of Alessandro Bastoni have cooled. Torino Granata (via Spurs Web) reports that Torino is waiting for Tottenham to put a proposal on the table for Bremer.
According to the report, the Serie A club is not currently negotiating with any other interested team. Furthermore, Bremer is willing to join manager Antonio Conte at Spurs this summer.
When it comes to a possible fee that the Premier League side could present to the Italian club, Transfermarkt puts the 24-year-old’s value at £32-million. Torino will look to sell the defender under contract until 2024 and could recoup a fee to their liking.
This past season, Bremer appeared in 33 fixtures, scoring three goals and recording one assist.
