While many are concentrated on which players Tottenham Hotspur will remain for next season, there’s also what will occur with those with no future in north London.
Spurs sent out various players out on loan in January, hoping they could bump up their value to find any takers. Bryan Gil and Giovan Lo Celso have improved their stock so that they could find takers for a permanent deal. However, Tanguy Ndombele might be more of a challenge.
Ndombele has struggled in his return stint at Olympique Lyonnais, and Football Insider reports that Tottenham doesn’t expect the French club to exercise the £50million-plus option in Ndombele’s loan deal.
As a result, the 25-year-old will have to return to the Premier League club to have his future sorted, whether it’s another loan or taking a significant loss on their investment to reach a permanent deal.
When it comes to a possible fee Spurs might have to accept this summer, Transfermarkt puts Ndombele’s value at £32-million
Depend if stories re his attitude are true..if so we really don’t want him upsetting the mood of the squad ..this is a real complication.
The rest of world football buy at the basement rate and sell at the premium. The entire English League couple with Madrid, PSG and Barca are the only clubs meeting these ridiculously over exaggerated fees for players in substandard leagues. Of course a player with quality is going to shine as the competition is cellar. Cuthino and Hazard are the 2 most recent to mind going the other way to fetch any real money and look where they went. Same old story. Unfortunately, not making excuse, the probability of ending up with guys like Tanguy is very high each window. That said with the many completions we will be in, I think he will be given time to make amends. 99.99% of the stories coming out these factory are click baits and everyone runs with it as publishing stories these day comes with no journalistic intergity.
Well said.
😆
Yep, the kind of people that sadly pervade the business world these days. Power hungry, greedy egomaniacs, answerable to nobody. Treating everyone like cu*nts…
Wobblybelly is a pathetic excuse for professional sportsman, bring him back at your peril Levy…
32m Turkish lira perhaps.
Transfermarkt doesn’t really update their numbers regularly.
I think it should read 3.2m.
Think we may get Pao Torres from Villarreal in exchange ..the Yellow Submarine don’t want to pay full whack for LoSellOn.
Put a Nando’s in his house ..gardening leave tata..
Ego maniacal fantasists spending money that isn’t their own.
LoSellOn Doherty Royal Reg NDembele the object is to win things not just to bring more money into the Levy church. The transfer committee was a disgrace absolute farce sp@nking millions of the clubs money high on their own importance ..
Only the evil try to re write history…
Winning is the metric..the cabinet needs something in it and not Dare Dream Do Do.
Valued at 32m? Not by anyone with 32m to spend.
As much as Ndombele appears to be a loss for us , I would say that “you cant win ’em all ” . Yes he has proven to be the most frustrating of players , momentary magic interspersed with long periods of virtually nothing . Maybe a foreseeable cotroversial style of player , his style would not have changed after he joined us but it must be said we have signed players recently who would be worth much more on open market today , such is thebb and flow of transfer fees .
It must be mentioned that the transfer of Dele Alli was the biggest loss of capital over the last 5 years . Going back , his fee must have shrunk from a sum in the region of £100 million to virtually anything you can get to reduce the wage bill ???
These are the constant changes that happen in football , Sonny was signed for £20 million + but his worth today ? Priceless I would say !
Leave it to Antonio – AND LETS GET NORWICH out of the way !!!!!!!1
I said this last week before Einstein came on and bullied me for mentioning this freak as a real problem.
£32m I would bite their hand off.
£22m the same.
Ok Eins. tell us which club will come in for him.
Over to you pal.
It’s no coincidence that the players moved out in January and those brought in has had a major impact on the teams improved performances.
of course
At best he’s training with the under 23s next season. That’s a 3rd big name doing that in less than 10 years. How do we not learn?
He’ll go in the summer but nothing near the £50m we’ll make a loss just one punt too far for levy, I think everyone was hoping he’d rip it up in Ligue 1 like lo Celso has in La Liga.
This is another fine example of Levy’s brilliance in the transfer negotiations. Not only do we spunk north of 50M on this numpty, but Levy somehow contrives to give him the same wages as Harry.Beyond parody.
This guy will stink our place out until his contract expires.
Hopefully. Conte has shown that he needs everyone on board. One player is enough to disrupt the harmony within the group
Just when I was feeling chipper after the “Eddie Howe dust” from last night, this blog has to go and remind me of NLardarse, the problem that just keeps coming back like the un-flushable turd.
Conte won’t have him anywhere near the place.
No one will want him he’s proven he’s to lazy to try n get better or up to standard it will be a loan or he will sit on our bench or in reserves
£32 million?
optimistic
