Report: Leeds United has no desire to let go of a forward linked to Spurs, Newcastle

By Eddie Razo -

Tottenham Hotspur is looking to strengthen their attack to add more scoring depth behind Harry Kane and Son Heung-min. There are plenty of names linked to the north London club to him with this need on the squad.

According to The Athletic (via talkSPORT), the latest name to surface is Leeds United forward Jack Harrison. However, the Premier League rival isn’t keen on letting the 25-year-old exit this summer.

Furthermore, the only way that Harrison would be allowed to leave is if they’re presented with an offer too large for them to turn down. Along with Spurs, Newcastle United is another club eyeing the England international.

Harrison made 38 appearances for Leeds United last season, scoring ten goals and recording two assists. When it comes to a fee, Transfermarkt puts the left-winger’s value at £16-million, so more than likely, they’ll want double that for a player whose contract doesn’t expire until 2024.

As a result, Leeds United doesn’t need to sell the forward this summer.
