Tottenham Hotspur hoped to revamp their midfield this January transfer window, and one of the reported targets that Spurs could be going after is a familiar one to Fabio Paratici.
Calciomercato reports that Tottenham Hotspur is engaging in talks with Paratici’s old club, Juventus FC, over the possibility of acquiring Dejan Kulusevski.
The 21-year-old could help fill one of two needs on the squad as the Sweden international can play either the right-wing or right-midfield position. The Tottenham club chief brought Kulusevski to Turin, so he’s a player that he holds in high regard.
Juventus isn’t against a loan deal, which is what Tottenham wants, but the Italian media outlet adds that The Old Lady will only agree to such a deal if it comes with an obligation to buy, in the range of €35-million (£29.7-million).
The Italian side wants the sum to secure funds to pursue their transfer targets. Along with Tottenham, Arsenal appears to be another Premier League club expressing interest.
You do not take studs on loan to pay their wages because managers at clubs have no idea what they are doing. If he does not fit your style, let the player go when his value is high. The new trend is loan to buy so GMs and managers do not look like fools when players go away and perform. If a player is up against the numbers at his club by all means loan him out or sell him with a buy back clause, but if the player is a bit part player and all he is is potential then why should another club want to invest in him before knowing if he is good enough or just do not fit the system. What if he comes and we play the same system in a more superior league?This pussy footing around must not become the norm.
