When Tottenham Hotspur spent £55-million on Tanguy Ndombele, the north London-based club felt they were receiving a player that would be a vital part of its midfield for years to come.
Now heading into his third season with Tottenham, the 24-year-old has failed to live up to the price the Premier League side paid in 2019. As a result, this summer, there were plenty of rumors regarding Ndombele and whether it was time to move on.
However, with the coronavirus pandemic affecting clubs financially, few were willing to pay the price close to what Tottenham did two years ago. Nonetheless, where there’s some, there’s fire, and it seems one club is intrigued over the possibility of landing Ndombele.
According to Calciomercato, former Spurs boss Jose Mourinho would like to reunite with the France international. The report details that the Portuguese tactician is less than impress with the current group of midfielders, and he would like to add athleticism to the AS Roma side.
Ndombele is under contract until 2025, and the report doesn’t add the price the Serie A club is willing to pay for Ndombele.
I agree, it doesn’t seem very likely does it?
Levy buying a lemon, what a surprise!
Mourinho may offer 25 million… just to get one over on levy…lols… of the 3 managers Tanguy has played under Mourinho got more out of him than the other two… whether that should result in a transfer is another matter… I personally cant see anyone paying close to the 55 mill we did & his 10 million wages per year…. so levy one way or another is looking at substantial losses..
Don’t disagree… it’s just, why would Mourinho buy a player he didn’t play for us. A player he clearly doesn’t rate.
Ahahahahaha!
Athleticism? Is this a rib?
Without needing a HT Oxygen Tent.
More Nonsense.
Well he ain’t winning the title in Italy so he might as well take some of our deadwood…
You wait, when he leaves Spurs he’ll play 90mins every game…
£25m + another £10m if he ever plays 10 consecutive 90 minutes
Is it 1st April?
More Bollocks.
Athleticism 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
What absolute drivel. Seriously…. Mourinho clearly didn’t rate this waste of space so why you think he’d want him at Roma is beyond comprehension.
Click bait …. Post this drivel on news now for the bedwetters.
