Report: January move for EPL star Fabio Paratici ‘really likes’ could still happen; player has his heart set on Spurs

By Mehdi Gokal -

Tottenham Hotspur could sign Wolverhampton Wanderers star Adama Traoré in January according to talkSPORT reporter Alex Crook.

The Daily Express reported that Antonio Conte’s side were interested in signing Traoré ahead of last week’s transfer deadline, but a deal for the winger Fabio Paratici ‘really likes’ never materialised.

The 26-year-old winger appears to be on his way out of Molineux within the next 12 months, with less than a year remaining on his current contract with the West Midlands club and having refused a new deal on multiple occasions. And according to a report from last week, despite interest from Chelsea as well, Traore has his heart set on a move to Spurs.

Crook believes Spurs could sign Traoré in the January transfer window, with the winger likely to be available at a discount due to the nature of his contract.

He told GIVEMESPORT:

“They might see that as a more attractive option in January, when he’ll only have six months left on his contract.

“He will be a bit cheaper, so I wouldn’t rule it out.

A January move for Traoré will be appealing to a number of clubs, with Wolves likely to accept a lower bid to avoid losing him on a free transfer in the summer.

Cheap and Levy have been banging in that room for 23 years. The bald cheapskate is looking at the baby oil boy like he’s a prime-time Marilyn Monroe.
