Reports continue to surface regarding the rumor linking Tottenham Hotspur to Everton FC striker Richarlison. A recent column from transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano states that there’s interest from the north London club.
However, it will cost them a significant amount. Nonetheless, UOL Esporte reports that the 25-year-old wants to be sold by The Toffees, and the Brazilian media outlet states that there is one club he does not want to go to, Arsenal.
The report states that the proposal that pleases Richarlison the most is to transfer to another team in England: Tottenham or Chelsea. The forward is already adapted to the Premier League, where he has played since 2017, so there would be no adjustment period.
With the FIFA World Cup later this year, Richarlison’s primary goal is to be prepared for the competition and be selected for what would be his first World Cup, so he is looking for a club and situation that allows him to secure a spot.
Nonetheless, for Spurs, it will be interesting to see whether they want to pay the rumored €70-million and €75-million.

What ‘countless times’? You are the one who makes it up and common sense and simple logic fails you.
Botch told us on one occasion that he didn’t have control of transfers. And that his job role should be changed from manager to coach… Once, not countless times. This was after the CL final and after the stadium build and 17 months of no transfers.
For 5 years previous to that he told us COUNTLESS times that no player was signed without his nod. No player was sold without his wish too.
He told us this on a yearly basis all while buying in rubbish. He also kept telling us that he prefers to work with a small squad and chooses that way.
Of course Ndom and Gio were Botch targets, it was widely reported at the time.
Levy didn’t scout them and choose them..
Like I said above, we were also scouting Bissouma for 15mil.. So if it was Levy then why did he spend club record fees on the other 2?
Why didn’t he buy the cheap punt?
Your arguing skills are rubbish.. It’s you who is blindsided. And you can’t answer my simple question because you know the truth really.
He might have wanted to work with Poch because his reputation for development of players, that doesn’t mean he was first or even second choice of Poch’s. Wobblybelly is at lest talented, it was down to the coaches to do their due diligence on his character, they clearly didn’t. Oh, and while we’re on the subject of supposed ‘Poch signings’, who was the manager when LoCelso’s transfer was made permanent? Jose…
You’re the one spewing drivel mate, not me. Perhaps try and get your facts right next time eh?
You keep referring back to Pochettino when talking about completely unrelated things. Why is a coach who left the club almost three years ago still this comparison with all that follows? Because since he wasn’t backed in those last few transfer Windows we have declined and it’s taken a coach of Conte’s pedigree to get us back there. Perhaps this irritates you? I have no idea. Did you also think Jose was going to work out too?
Did he sign those two? Do you know that? Is it because they’re both Argentines that you think that? Great theory… how do you explain signing our current Argie Romero after Poch was long gone? He couldn’t wait to get Fazio out the door either who was also an Argie.
The answer is that Paratici signed him because he had him at Juventus and Paratici has been entrusted with the signings, just as Hitchen was before him.
Different job title, pretty much the same role. Our managers don’t pick the signings, not since Arry, when are people going to grasp this? Maybe it doesn’t fit their argument.
Did Jose want Rodon, Bale, Stevie B for example? No, he wanted Skryna (or whatever his name is), similarly Poch wanted Coutinho and Dybala rather than Belly etc. “Oh, sorry it was different with Poch” On what basis?
There is no evidence that Belly was a player Pochettino wanted. You can make up these scenarios but without any evidence it means very little. He hardly played him for a start, secondly you seem to have this constant blind spot to the countless times he made clear that he had nothing to do with picking transfer targets. This doesn’t help you make your point though, obviously. Hence the constant blind spot…
Club record signing Ndombele for starters. Like I said above we were in for Bissouma for 15 million. Instead we bought in Botch targets like Ndom and Lo Celso for club record fees.. If you really think they were Levy targets then why didn’t he go for the cheaper punt? You really think Levy scouted those two and chose to spend big? You think Levy picks the players and team? No, We’d be relegated already if he did. Ndom has been on our books for over 3 years at 200k a week.. That’s 12million a year. That’s 36 million on top of his 55 million record fee.. A proper Botch job.. If you honestly think that’s a Levy signing then more fool you.
It’s a good job Botch and Hitchen weren’t given more time. They’d have made more of a mess and we’d have gone further backwards.
Rubbish,he signed Lo celso ,Foyth. You seem to forget that he also tried to sign Ndombele at Psg but they failed to agree a loan deal. If you go back to the time when we were signing Ndombele ,there is numerous articles and quotes from Ndombele that he only joined spurs because of Poch
The whole of the Pochettino side with the exception of Hugo Dier, Kane and Sonny left the club ages ago. Toby, Jan Walker, Trippier, Rose, Dembele, Eriksen, Wanyama all gone. What players are you referring to as the ‘Botch mistakes’ we are trying to sell? Pochettino didn’t pick the transfer targets (always said it himself) of that summer where we got Belly, LoCelso and Sessingnon. He wanted Dybala and Coutinho for example, yet these inconvenient factoids might not suit your outlook. Which is pretty obvious…
That’s assuming it was nothing more than that. Regardless, this has a legal dimension. Whatever anyone says about it or theorises about it who weren’t there means very little, until he is exonerated on a legal basis. In case people haven’t grasped that aspect, he hasn’t been…
It’s common knowledge that Pochettino had little influence on transfers, kept saying that perhaps he wasn’t the manager but only the coach. Have you forgotten all of that? Perhaps conveniently? Clinton Cards, NoCludo and the list goes on, players he never played were 100% cheapo Levy punts. The least effective ones he did play were played because that’s what he was given. You can rewrite the past to backup this strange obsession with your ‘Botchy’ stuff if you like. Some of us remember events exactly as they happened, and don’t need anyone else to fill us in with a version tailored for themselves.
Botch has a lot to do with it, we’re still trying to sell his mistakes.. Hitchen also has had a lot to do with it…… Paratici and Conte have been marvellous so far, we have taken strides forward in a short time.. Champions league in half a season with a worst team than Botch inherited. Yet it took Botch years!
Romero the destroyer of worlds, Benty and KoolioJetSki have been fantastic signings… Golli was a last minute back up because Gazzanigga wanted out for first team football, no biggy there… And Royal has performed well in my opinion he’s further than Walker was at the same age and he’s in a new country. He certainly hasn’t been bad anyway… All football clubs have failed signings just look at Man Citys flops and money they have wasted.. Paratici deserves credit, I’ve wanted the whole scouting set up overhauled for years, it’s been needed ever since Mitch left. Levy is to blame for not doing it earlier.
Bissouma is their best player. Brighton don’t want rid, he’s in the last 12 months of his contract because he’s refused to sign a new one.. Hence his price is so low. When he signs for us his value will immediately double.. Remember Tintin..
Can you not remember that we were in for Bissouma under Botch? We were scouting him and nearly bought him for 15 million for Lille.. Instead we went for Botches target the club record Ndombele for 55 million. Bissouma is one cheap punt that Levy should have gone with.
It’s not about Levy buying cheap punts, it’s been about scouting and management.. Bissouma is the perfect replacement for Moussa Dembele..
There is nothing wrong with people who live on council estates, I know some lovely people with no money, I just used the chav stereotype because it could happen. Footballers are targets for robbers, extortion, etc, court cases for literally anything because they have so much money..
I’ve been slapped on my rear by both women and men in nightclubs.. This is sexual assault, but not serious.
Royal was a punt ,we wanted Conte but couldn’t get him. Because of Paratici we got Conte and that is the reason we are 4th. No other manager who we were linked to including Poch last season would of got us 4th. What about Kulu and Bentacur ? Does Paratici not get your approval for those 2 ? Golini was on loan ,if he done well he would of stayed. Royal is a Braziliam international who a few clubs were interested in. He isnt that great and I admit it,but we could of done worse. He served his purpose and got us to 4th. The reason I mentioned Poch is because you were one of the main people who was against us hiring Conte and wanted your Messia to return to the club. Now we are back in the champs league and you cant justify rubbishing Conte you will move to Paratici. Maybe next season when Poch is managing a Midtable La Liga side will you understand what utter rubbish you spew.
They’d never be able to sire children if it were me.
What’s Pochettino got to do with it? Paratici brought in Nuno, Royal, Gollini and even tried to lumber us with Gatusso at one point. I’m not of the opinion that our DOF is quite the miracle worker some people seem to imagine. Look at the Diaz thing, you’re impressed with all that are you? It’s like people are taking anything he’s done that looks at least competent and hyping it up and ignore all the tripe. Arnesen was our last actually effective DOF and Baldy couldn’t even keep hold of him for more than about 18 months…
You only complain for the sake of complaining ,The guy is innocent untill proven guilty . Paratici is a liability ? If it wasnt for him we would of never got Conte . If Paratici walks so will Conte. Or maybe you will be happy that we get Poch back once he is fired. Mr I never win away to any of the top 9 teams in France last season.
He’ll probably be from a French council estate himself… 😆
What has he done? That’s the whole point isn’t it? There has been an accusation of something very serious (which sexual assault is) and this matter is completely unresolved as it stands.
I reckon Brighton want rid of soiled goods. Reports of a 22m, fee for a player of that proven ability in the league. Why have Brighton allowed his contract to run down to 12 months? A very good player but we shouldn’t have a blind spot, as if these accusations don’t matter. It’s bad PR for the club if nothing else. Typical Levy, nice and cheap just like Aurier was who’d been in hot water over homophobic statements and PSG wanted rid. Nothing worse than people from those dreadful council estates though, horrible people…
Serious? Whats he even done? Surely not serious like the Siggurdson case, or Mason Greenwood.. A sexual assault could be as little as a slap on the bottom, which is standard in nightclubs.. Rape or messing with minors is serious… Also innocent until proven guilty.. He may have spurned a council estate chav and she’s lying for all we know.
Daniella couldn’t negotiate his way out of a crisp packet, he doesn’t negotiate as far as I can tell. He finds a situation where he feels he has the complete upper hand and sets the deal out, take it or leave ur
Levy has no shame. The furlough incident, the ESL ‘apology’ etc. he only cares about a cheap deal for himself. He’s a master negotiator apparently. Ask the Lyon CEO who is still wetting himself laughing at the tool bag.
No no, don’t get me wrong. I’ve been fully appreciative of PEH’s value to the team and still am. I’d prefer it if he stayed as he’s completly made of the right stuff. However, I just don’t feel that he’s got the exact skill-set that fits Conte’s ideal profile in that position. Let’s face it, if you’re playing three central defenders and two wingbacks and three forwards then your two midfield players have to be pretty much tuned into what you want from them. Which is the basis of my theory on PEH and Conte.
Small off field issues ..like sexual assault..good player and I hope it isn’t true ..but if someone sexually assaulted my partner they would never play football again
he is not a striker and unless we moving Lucas Moura and Bergwjin we are spinning out wheels. When a forward and a creative mid is in the door I can rest better. Oh we did sign Yves Bissoouma ahead of Arsensa. Some idiot who has not idea we were pursuing him had to throw that in..
You get will chided tomorrow from big brother.
I can see this Brighton player being this summer’s PR disaster for Levy and his stooge Paratici. How is this signing going to down in some quarters with him being accused of serious sexual assault? Paratici is becoming a liability if you ask me…
If Skipp gets back to full fitness and stays fit, the casualty will probably be PEH in that scenario.
England playing like Spurs under Nuno these last few games. Will Kane ever get a rest or just played into the ground week to week.
The only thing Gareth has managed to do is synchronise the players kneeling..
So he can bang on how it’s his and his team’s job to educate people😂
Skipp and PEH are both perfect ‘see out the game’ sub types, esp in CL, think they stay and that’s their main role…but they also start some games too
Could be 2 players for every position
I think we should get Southgate when Conte goes 😳
Bargain rapist…
Funny innit, you think “great, really good signing” and then you realise he’s partly soiled goods. Accusations of sexual assault and attitude issues, why is nothing ever straightforward with Levy?
Either or, I guess time will tell. I’m not sure Conte fully fancies PEH to be honest…
Levy’s got himself a cut price sex-pest. Luvleee jubleee…
I think we need the squad depth next season. Hope PEH stays. Could indicate Skipp has not recovered properly.
This could signal the exit door for PEH…
Exactly, he plays every week and is in the main excellent
Best player on the pitch against us v Brighton. This is a logical signing for a change, more of the logic please.
Bissouma is excellent in the PL. no comparison with NBelly.
Attitude issues?! Does that start to ring bells a little? We don’t want another Ndombele.
Yes, a ball carrier is required to resist the press. A ball mover like Erikssen unlock the teams parking on the 18th. Truth is, there are similarities to him and Betancur and if he is next to him, that would leave no room for a creative mid in the 343 or any combination with 3 at back. 343 is set in stone so how are we going to get a creative player now that we have 4 holding mids and only one I assumed can start accomodate said creative player. I see a crisis with Hojberg whether we want to believe it or not. He is a special player, but does he progress the team in transition. And the more quality you add around him the more his offensive liability begins to show.
Paqueta, Richarlison, Raphinha, Bissouma are all dynamic players, like Kulu, Bentanacur and Romero. Definitely a good trend here if we can bring some of these guys in.
Raphinha would be phenomenal…can’t see that one sadly
Bissouma is the one I wanted – apparently some small off field/attitude issues but doesn’t sound anything major. Doesn’t stop him playing some classy football on the regular.
Whatever happens, it’s certainly encouraging that we’re targeting proven players in the prem like Richarlison and Bissouma and possibly Raphinha, whom I rate highly.
Ive heard he got cleared of it 2 days ago someone else is still under investigation though.
He is leaving for sure. I think it is the media that is twisting the story to generate traffic and pin us to Arsenal. I personally think he will come. Playing along a center forward he has always done and can operate on his own. Kane need help and IMO he has the quality to standing for twice a week once the season gets going in earnest. Harry cannot keep going for 90 every game and now the stakes are higher when it comes to CL. We need the caliber player of Richarlison.
Last year of contract ?
Since we can speculate and until the court or his camp release otherwise, I would think Paratici did his home work. A few years back, the stop sign was up for Serge Auriera although not as serious. I trust they did their home and all will be well. I can unearth a few of my past posts and gloat a bit once he walk out on the grass. I wanted the kid. Can u imagine the elegance of seeing Betancur glide all over the pitch and Bissouma power up the middle.
I think Levy will have to accept taking a big loss on Ndombele, and use it as a lesson learnt.
Yes, could be a concern. You always have to wonder why a prem team would sell its best player for 25m.
I didn’t know about this. Just read an article from a Brighton and Hove newspaper about it. He’s still under investigation!
More AM for me behind Kane and Son trying to unlock teams sitting back.
That might put HH out of work!
Let’s hope Paratici did his due diligence on the Bissouma sexual assault stuff. If clear, let’s get him in Bissouma than later.
Very much hope this happens!!
Sounds like Bizz should’ve of been at the training ground Sunday but agent was poorly, moved to Thursday but Spurs didn’t want it leaked….Chelsea 😳
theres always something, don’t you worry ☺️
Bissouma can thread some quite creative passes (especially at short range in a congested space)… and he is pretty good at scoring from free kicks just outside the penalty area. It’s possible he could become the ball carrying midfielder with the creative touch we need.
(not to mention his interceptions/tackles which are excellent)
Problem is always going to be shifting Ndombele. Winks will go pretty easily, but Ndom’s wages, application and stinking attitude will be a nightmare to get rid of.
Twitter verse blindsided as well, shows its more like gossip rather than news
Eriksen would be good business. Still playing great football, and free. Interesting to see where he would go in Conté’s system though. He is a 442 or 4231 player. He could push back into DM, as you say, or come off the bench for Sonny or Kulu. Cant see him wanting to be a bench warmer though.
I think it will be a holding two most games, at least one who can transition, along the lines of a Moussa type midfielder with a holder. The 3rd attacker likely the role for Eriksen or that type of player in a 3412.
We live in hope…
Bargain! I’m just worried, the way transfers are going, that we won’t be able to criticize Levy this summer for being a tightwad and influencing cra*p signings 😉
……….ww.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/61795211
Agreed. I wonder, if we re-signed Eriksen, he could play in the one of the central midfield positions in such games.
Can’t see Richarlison signing…
about Bissouma..
funny how yet again the media know NOTHING….
I think we need creativity in midfield. If we play against a team that sits deep, we lack that creative spark to open up defences and we look pedestrian.
Signing Everton and Brighton’s best two players isn’t bad, still would love two statement signings – one defender, one forward.
I think winks and Ndombele will be moved on. The remaining 4 will be rotated in a season of more games. Obviously there will a preferred pairing; will be interesting to see what that will be.
If Boussama is signed, and it appears likely, we will have four holding midfield players without an attacking midfield player if you don’t count N’Dombele. Does this raise a question mark over Skipp or even Hjojberg futures?
This is the perenial problem, players with this high a profile will not come to be back up to Kane.If either of them were coming it would be to start most games.
I’m not convinced by Calvert-Lewin,he is like a lot of so called strikers these days who spurn too many opportunities.
I’m of the opinion that if Richarlison came it would mean Kulu dropping to the bench. So would it actually happen?I’ve already said that he could be a good buy if he cuts out the theatrics. He is a grafter and is not phased by constant fouls against him.
Bissouma joining from Brighton by the looks of it. Surely that means Winks is going. Maybe to Everton?
Or even the as yet untapped potential in his strike partner – Calvert – Lewin . He’d be a perfect understudy for Harry and maybe for England .
Plus , I think he could be picked up for far less than Richarlison and with a much more KANE-LIKE temperament and style , he could be a fantastic squad addition…….?
harry does more than that in 2 years
Scored 43 league goals in 4 years. Not too shabby, but not €75m worth. Won’t even get off the ground. Let’s move on. NEXT!
He’s a whinger and he will whinge sitting on the bench, we don’t need it, and nobody is going to even consider that fee, especially Levy.
Opening bidding, they want £75, we only want to pay £45…somewhere in the middle or no deal
IF he does come hopefully he will resign his amateur dramatics membership card. But £75m? Rather take the chance with Martinez at that price.
