Report: Arsenal stepping up their interest in a Tottenham Hotspur transfer target

By Eddie Razo -

Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly keen on strengthening their forward group this summer by adding some scoring depth to go behind Harry Kane and Son Heung-min. Various names are connected to the north London club, including Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus.

If Jesus is one of the top targets to add more goals to support their two star players, they might have to pick up their interest. According to The Times, Arsenal is growing increasingly optimistic that a deal to acquire Jesus.

Arsenal’s initial proposal was considered worth up to £30-million, but it is expected to be improved to match Manchester City’s estimation of roughly £50 million. Jesus is open to moving away from Etihad Stadium as he hopes for a more prominent role ahead of a FIFA World Cup later this year.

For Tottenham, it appears as though Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez is the marquee target for them this summer, but if that falls flat, they’ll have to look at other options, including Jesus.

I hope the board of directors will let Conte do his job when it comes for transfers, he is a very good coach and he wants to see Tottenham club can compete whit any football club in the world. And bring silver ware which the club is hungry for the last 57 years.

He will play either 343 and/or 352 next season. Hopefully we sign Martinez and we play 352.
The odds of Bastoni coming look slim. He would be great though.
Perisic will play left wing back. Kane will finally get some proper service.

If we sign Bastoni and Bissouma I’d love to see Conte play an attacking team against bus parkers 433 for now:
Doherty Romero Bastoni Sess
Benty Bissouma PEH
Sonny Harry Perisic

I’d like our chances against anyone. Especially if we also add Richarlison and upgrade at FB.

It appears we are “in the mix” for everyone that’s ever played football at any level right now. A big mix.

All I know is Spurs are once again “in the mix ” for the really talented players around the world – and that is the power of Champions League . Whoever says finishing 4th is “not ” a prize is radio rental . HOW SICK ARE THE ARSENAL ??????
How exciting is it to know that your team is now an attractive , desirable , required Club to join . Maybe for now the “super-elite ” are out of the question , but possibly in the not too distant future …………… C O Y S !!!

I’d rather have Martinez or Richarlison instead. So the Gooners are welcome to Jesus.
