Redknapp says Spurs’ summer signing is the best he has seen for some time
By Bruce Grove -

Harry Redknapp has become the latest individual to praise Sergio Reguilon as the Spaniard continues to shine for Tottenham.

Spurs signed the Spanish defender as one of several players that came through the door for them in the last transfer window.

The former Real Madrid man had won the Europa League while on loan at Sevilla last season and he was one of the best left-backs in Europe in that campaign.

Spurs managed to sign him despite having Ben Davies and Danny Rose on their books and the Spaniard has repaid them with his performances for them this season.

Redknapp was speaking on Sky Sports’ podcast on some of Jose Mourinho’s players and he said that Reguilon is one of the best left-backs he has seen in a long time.

He said: “Reguilon is as good a left-back as I’ve seen for a long time. It’s not a midfield that’s that skilful but it’s a midfield that he likes.”

The 23-year-old has emerged as one of the best in the Premier League this season.

He has played six league games and provided two assists, fans will be hoping that he can maintain his current run of form until the end of the season.

Arry. Some think poch deserves more praise than you. Apparently he got them believing again. I know it’s you start the ting (CL) and your teams were more entertaining than his. I also know the mess you inherited. Big up yourself arry mate. Inter west upper. Oh and you’re right. Reggi can play

In fairness, we played some delightful exciting “sexy swagger football” under Arry, with Bale skinning defenders for fun scoring thunderbolt goals, Scotty Parker sitting and Modric probing and weaving his stuff. Lovely Jubbly!!

When we destroyed Newcastle 5-0 or was it 5-1 that was the beginning of the end!
