Real Madrid starting to sniff around Tottenham once again for world-class star

By Bruce Grove -

Twitter verified journalist, Ekrem Konur claims that Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane is following Son Heung-min as the South Korean continues his fine run of form for Tottenham.

Son has emerged as one of the best attackers in the Premier League this season and his combination with Harry Kane has been bringing goals to Tottenham in a prolific manner.

Both players have now combined to score 13 goals for the club this season, in the league.

On an individual level, Son has 12 league goals and 5 assists from 16 league matches, he has a further 3 in 7 Europa League games.

With plenty of matches still to play, Son is expected to score even more goals for the club this season.

Mail Sport also reckons that Zidane is watching his situation with Spurs yet to offer him a new deal.

The Spaniards are, however, cautious about spending too much money on Premier League attackers after Eden Hazard joined them and is yet to show why they spent so much to lure him away from Chelsea.

Spurs will want to keep Son at all cost if he continues to shine as he is doing now, and fans can expect them to either reject the offer or make a ridiculous amount of money from the sale of the South Korean.

I’d say Mr Levy would demand £100 million minimum which neither Real or Barcelona have so a non story. Now if it was Man City then that’s a different story.

Baseless media speculation from a Turkish rag, which is implausibly likely to be a fount of knowledge on the inner machinations of Real Madrid’s transfer policy.

I would make a rather more informed guess that Son is 100% not Zidane’s kind of player and that he wouldn’t be interested in signing him, but either way it doesn’t matter.

RM don’t have the funds to make any offer that would remotely approximate the kind of dosh our diminutive supremo would require to raise an eyebrow, let alone lift his furrowed brow from reading his morning copy of ‘The Daily Debt Service’!

Maybe its not a good subject for bloggers (present estimable authors excepted) but the overuse of “obviously” is becoming cringe-worthy….. has Cuthbert “the cad” finally left Bash Street to pursue a living churning out inanity?

Harry Kane and if anyone saw the after match comments Sonny, have completely replaced such worthies as, “Err….” and “Well umm….” with the word “obviously”.

I can understand Sonny picking up off Harry as English is not his first language and after all Harry is the captain of England….. y’know where they speak English. You can forgive him for not really knowing any better. But its not confined to those two and Bielsa, as he has recently demonstrated.

Guys, if its “obvious” you don’t need to say it………………. (don’t get me started on “absolutely”).

I thought an offer had been made to Son, which he has not accepted as yet. Perhaps Daniel would like Sonny to take a Covid-inspired haircut in his new deal.

Their telepathy built up over the years is priceless.

Or maybe this is agent talk. Nothing like inventing interest from another club to get the final details of a new contract ironed out.

They’d have to get shot of Hazard first, and who’s gunna buy that guy and all the extra timber that comes with him nowadays. Not to mention the Bale situation.
