Real Madrid chiefs celebrating Gareth Bale’s resurgence, here is why

Tottenham fans have waited for a while now to see Gareth Bale back to the form that he has shown in recent games, but they are not the only ones celebrating his resurgence.

The Welshman seems to have finally clicked into top gear as he scored twice and provided an assist in Tottenham’s 4-0 win over Burnley.

While it would delight Tottenham to see some return on the huge part of his salary that they are paying, the Lilywhites aren’t the only team that is celebrating his return to form.

AS claims that back in the Spanish capital, Real Madrid is overjoyed that he is finally showing decent form.

This is because his return to form will help them get rid of him and they need to do that to achieve their transfer aims.

The next player that Los Blancos want to add to their team is Kylian Mbappe, but they cannot land the World Cup winner unless they make room for him on their wage bill.

Bale remains one of their highest earners and he still has a contract with them until 2022.

His return to form improves Madrid’s chances of selling him to another team, if Tottenham doesn’t want him permanently and that will allow them to finally move for Mbappe.

Yes mate.. Who knows what will happen.. Maybe Bale isn’t all about the money (he has enough now), possibly a deal could be struck if he’s happy to reduce his wages.. Loads.

Bale has scored more than Ronaldo Nazario, got more assists than Beckham, won more trophies than Zidane, 16 major trophies… He has been a legend for them, Zidane and their fans are mugs… Cristiano Ronaldo left them as soon as he could after they booed him. They jeered because he had a poor first half. Second half he scores 4 goals and stopped them all cheering by bringing his finger to his lips. Told them all to shut up.. Fickle fans they don’t realise how good they got it… Booing Ronaldo and Bale is disgraceful.. I would be highly suprised if Gaz wanted to go back there..

Alot will depend on whether Zidane is still their gaffer.. Bale was never happy to sit on the bench mate, the media spout nonsense.. Hes looked far happier playing and scoring for us than he has in years.. Whats changed is the lad is finally playing again and he’s at the club which helped make him, where he’s loved and respected.

Surrly it’s all down to Bale. Madrid may want to sell but he has shown in the previous two years that he is more than happy to sit there and collect his 600k a week. What changed?

A fit in form Bale (not the one we had for the first 5 months) is surely worth having eh? If he kicks on from here then would you have him at Spurs for another season? A Bale loan versus a shitty levy signing?

Even if you just paid Bales wages for another season he would be so much better than any equivalently priced alternative?

2 mill a month: bales wages? Would you get a premier league ready striker for 24 million? I dunno.

This is Bag of the fag packet Levy economics but i think id have bale over some average VINÍCIUS type signing

Nothing has really changed, he still has a year left and they’ll hope Spurs or some other club will pay a bigger chunk of his wages.
