“Please just get rid of him” These Tottenham fans send club a clear message over Ndombele

By Bruce Grove -

Some Tottenham fans are completely tired of Tanguy Ndombele and they are no longer very impressed by his show of skills that often ends with no end-product.

The club posted a video of him dribbling through the Aston Villa defence and shooting at their goal on Twitter, but fans weren’t so impressed.

In the video, the skilful Frenchman had dribbled through bodies in the Villa defence, but his shot was weak and also lacked a good direction, which made it an easy catch for Villa’s goalkeeper.

The video seems to impress the club’s social media admin, who posted it with a caption that reads: “Ndomballer”

With that skilful display failing to lead to a goal or even an assist, most of the club’s fans were unimpressed by it as they have watched him show his skills before.

They took to the comments to speak their minds with at least one fan asking for him to be sold. Here are some of the reactions:

He really knows nothing about football. Shameful and that mug is supposed to represent THFC.

Levy passed up Fernandez to buy Lo Celso. What a plonker that man is.

I believe his stats were better than Lo Celso’s.

Respectfully disagree. Don’t remember him ever dominating games. Unfit and no heart.

That’s exactly what we have. Another Levy genius move for someone with potential sell-on value. There’s a reason no big teams were in for him….

I hope that isn’t the case or we’re stuck with an expensive flop.

He started performing for Jose last season after a long settled run. But I get your point.

NBelly will never amount to anything. See Dele. Without the few decent seasons.

How long does a player need to show he’s the real deal?
I’d love to see him become a top player for Spurs, but he’s only just showed us glimpses of brilliance between lengthy spells of apparent disinterest. You could argue he’s become another Bentley or Dos Santos.

N’Dombele is potentially the only real deal we have along with Son. I would have said Kane but he’s gone all weird lately.

I detect a certain cynicism in Spurs fans now.
