Plausible XI to beat Dinamo Zagreb

By The Boy -

This is an important game, and curiously I’ve noted online this morning that some people appear to believe we’ll cruise to victory past this lot by putting out the sort of side one might expect to play Marine or Wolfsberger. I don’t believe Mourinho would be so naive or disrespectful, for that matter. He’s been here before. Nobody currently at Tottenham has.

Another point to raise here is that we don’t play Arsenal until Sunday, and for the ‘form goes out the window in a derby’ twaddle, the reality is that The Gunners are way off the pace this season.

“Spurs’ defence worries me” Says Bobby Zamora

I know hindsights a wonderful thing, but Toby n Reg rested Bale and Hojberg came on late tonight. Dont think he will give up our current league run easily. Those 4 will start Sun and Moura as well probably. Another 3 points coming our way COYS

Strange that the most important of those 3 came on and got booked! Think we have a real chance of landing this trophy

The Europa League is our best bet for a CL spot next season. Without which we will struggle to hold Kane, Son and Ndombele I suspect. Bale as well. So that CB pairing scares the pants off me. We have to win this tie at home convincingly. if we do not then the prospect of gaining a result that will allow us to qualify will become very distant.

Yea, why not? Does he like a 4-4-1-1

Few fans I know think he’ll have one eye on Sunday’s game. I don’t think he will, realistically he sees winning the EL the most likely route to the CL. I expect a strong lineup tonight.
