Dusan Vlahovic has been linked with a move to Tottenham this season and it seems they might win the race for his signature.
Adding Fabio Paratici to their club has given them some advantage in signing players from Serie A and Vlahovic could make the move to London.
The Serbian scored 21 league goals last season and has two more seasons left on his current deal.
Paratici wanted to sign him for Juventus before he left the Old Lady and Firenze Viola says the new Tottenham director of football still has his eyes on the striker.
The report says Kane is set to leave Tottenham and Paratici is confident that Vlahovic would be the perfect replacement for the Englishman.
They could sell him this summer as Fiorentina is struggling to get him on a new contract with a higher release clause.
They want him to sign a new long-term deal with a release clause of around 90m euros, but the player doesn’t think his release clause should be more than 50m euros.
With his contract expiring in the summer of 2023, the report says if he fails to renew his terms with them right now, they would offload him so they can sell him for a decent transfer fee.
Football.London are not an authoritative source, they are reporters…
Kane is turning 28. Is any club going to spend £160m on a player in his late twenties?
Football.London are saying that Spurs might sign him for £50M. That sort of sum will only be spent on one player if Kane is sold.
Under his mattress!!
So far we look to have spent £105m already before the Japanese CB guy and a striker, if Kane’s not going where exactly has all the the money come from? The only other thing I can think of is naming rights to the stadium.
This is what we really need, a striker, especially if Kane is off, and if he isn’t where is Levy getting all this money from?
Long said that Ings should be signed to add to our strike force and hope this finally comes to fruition.
Meanwhile back in the real world we have signed a back up keeper on loan.
Kane will not leave
well, Kane will leave if City have enough cash so any ‘first choice’ quality forward coming in this window will be labelled the HK replacement for sure
Why does every striker linked with Spurs always have to replace HK. Are spurs only allowed to have one striker in their squad?
