Only Spurs man to score Arsenal hattrick has his say on Tottenham’s title chances

By Bruce Grove -

Tottenham have been one of the best teams in the Premier League this season as they continue to work towards ending their wait for a trophy.

They have been trophyless for the last 12 years, and Jose Mourinho has been brought in to end that.

The Portuguese manager remains a winning manager, and his Tottenham team has started this campaign the right way.

Topping the league table ahead of their match against Arsenal tomorrow isn’t a bad position to be in, and a good number of Spurs fan believe that they are on the right track to winning the title.

However, the only player to ever score a hattrick for Tottenham in the north London derby, Terry Dyson, doesn’t seem to agree that Spurs have what it takes to see out a title challenge.

He claimed that Mourinho’s team should do well in this campaign, but they are missing something that will help them win the league.

He told the PA news agency via BT Sports: “They just lack something, I think.

“I don’t know what it is. They will have a good season, they will finish well up in the league, but I can’t see them winning it.

“They play well at times and have good players there, but I can’t see them doing it.”

They might not join but plenty clubs will take points of all of all of the above. A decent second half from the reds Fernandez is some player.

Three points now separating the top six Spurs Liverpool Chelsea Man Utd Man City and Leicester after 10 games. Will any other clubs join the party or is this the top six for the rest of the season.Spurs have played 6 sides currently in the top ten getting 11 points.
